First Day (23rd January 2020)

Dear future viewers,

Do you want to know about the inner workings of a teenager that happens to be interested in Drama and has to write a journal on wordpress because we have to all put in black and white all our work in one place? Well you’ve come to the right blog!

I won’t blame you if you pull away now. I’m just one blog among millions of others. One drama students writing their adventures within the walls of a classroom like many others. A quote that I read just recently said “Be yourself, everyone else is already taken.” However, a friend once said to me that it doesn’t matter how many views or friends you have, it’s the experience you have making them.

As far as experience goes, I like to think that I have a lot of it when it comes to the arts. I have now been on the directing team for the school production twice in a row now, and I actually want to pursue directing as a career when I graduate thanks to this school. As a result, I feel as if I have set the bar too high for myself when it comes to this subject as I am rarely satisfied with how my performance goes. I want to give the audience the best of my ability, so why can’t I?

That my friends, is something that I hope that you and I can figure out as this year goes by as I hope to reach the heights I’ve previously set for myself as well as hopefully achieving top marks along the way. Now? Let’s go and see what the future has in store for us.
